BT uses Genius internally to great success.
Genius for the Service Provider Group has really enabled us to make a step change in how we deliver, execute and report on campaigns. The Account Managers are more productive as they focus their valuable sales time on those customers they know have opened and actioned the e-shot.
We have also integrated Genius with our customer database which resides in salesforce.com. Therefore from a marketing perspective we can target our campaigns on their characteristics rather than just mass marketing. As our customer knowledge grows, the power of using these collaboration tools will only grow further.

Cost effective campaigns
We had a database of partners which we wanted to sign up to become a new sales channel called BT Associates. Using Genius we were able to execute our campaign at an absolute fraction of the cost of a traditional recruitment campaign. It also enabled us to focus on the prospects who are interested, which has meant that these partners have been signed up quicker and have started selling BT products and services even faster. We have also been able to execute our campaign using less people, again saving us money.

R. James Hutcheon Solicitors provides legal support services to consumers and corporate clients. Most recently, they developed a service called "Car Conveyancer" which helps reduce the risk of fraud and scams when private individuals buy and sell expensive motor vehicles. While setting up this business, R.J. Hutcheon Solicitors signed a service invoice with BT using BT eSignature.
"The BT eSignature seemed like the perfect way to have our automobile buyers and sellers sign binding contracts online", said Ronald Hutcheon, Principal, Hutcheon Solicitors. All users complete a user form and then immediately e-sign via BT eSignature to accept the terms and conditions of the agreement. "It's a ground breaking service, fast, convenient and legal", says Ronnie.
To satisfy himself that BT eSignatures are binding, Ronnie compiled his own independent research and attended seminars on the legality of e-signatures and regulations of online agreements in the UK and EU. He was satisfied that online signatures captured with BT eSignature complied with the 1999/93/EC Directive on Electronic Signatures, signed in December 1999, and subsequently complemented by the Electronic Commerce Directive.

Rawnet - "BT eSignature makes our clients' lives easier"
Rawnet is a digital communications agency that has developed websites, web applications and award winning presentations for organisations such as Honda and 3M.
Typically, graphic design projects involve multiple milestones that require the customer sign-off including initial project approval, design proofs and purchase order approval for billing. Consequently, Rawnet sends out various documents for signature at least 2-4 times per day. The documents were emailed or faxed and the next phase of the project would begin upon receiving the returned, signed fax. Typically, this caused a 2-3 day delay at each phase in the project.

Rawnet found that BT eSignature met their needs. The main selling point was the ease of use - Rawnet saw the potential for vast improvement with minimal effort on their part, and minimal disruption for their customers. On average, Rawnet sees customer approvals in 2-3 hours - some documents have been signed in as little as 30 minutes.
